‘Hefe’ is German for yeast, and ‘weizen’ refers to the use of wheat – which is a fairly good indication of what to expect from our traditional Hefeweizen. Traditional fruit (bright banana) and spice (clove) notes are present and accounted for. The light-coloured beer glows with a slight haze. A refreshing Bavarian classic.
