Road to Folkie - Stu Nuggett and Band

bOOK HERE!

Stuart Joel Nuggett is a Jingili man from Kulumindini (Elliot), now based in Alice Springs/Mparntwe. He grew up not speaking his native tongue. It wasn't until he matured into adulthood that the urgency to preserve and promote the language hit him hard. Hear the Jingulu language draped on Southern Rocl, Country Pop and Whisky soaked balads. Stu is passionate about the plight of his people and hopes that through his songs he can connect with audiences from all walks of life.

Supporting Stu is Evie Mae, a singer-songwriter form the seaside village of Port Fairy on Gundidjmara Country. Performing original material straight from the heart, she writes with wisdom beyond her 18 years. With a style that ranges from indie folk to alternative/acoustic pop to blues, Evie Mae has performed at the 2022 and 2023 Port Fairy Folk Festivals as part of the future folk program and gigs regularly around the South-West. Having recently released her debut EP Partly Sunny, Evie Mae is excited to share her music and hopes that her songs will connect with her growing audience in a way that only music can.

Sun Bear BBQ will be set up out the front of Noodeldoof from 6pm.

Limited booth avalibility (minimum booking 4pax)
